Miss St. Kitts Captures Miss Caribbean Culture Crown

Miss Adams fondly known as “Barbie” also won top honours for Ambassadorial Wear and Speech, and Best Evening Wear, amassing an overall total of 1826 points.
Miss Adams’ Ambassadorial Speech earned her 383points. Just six points behind, Miss Curaçao’s Marvia Laurence was named First Runner Up, and won Best Interview. She earned 381 points for the interview segment, and an overall total of 1820 points.
The Second Runner Up position went to Miss St. Lucia Louise Victor who also won the Swimwear segment. She amassed 1785 points.
Earning her 376 points, Miss Victor’s black, leatherette bathing suit, featured a bra-style top that crisscrossed across her upper torso around her back, where it was attached to the bikini bottom. It featured gold chain straps at the shoulders and a loop of gold chains on each hip.
Ashley Sheniece Massiah representing St. Croix was the Third Runner Up in Monday night’s show earning a total of 1706 points.
Miss Montserrat Claris Yearwood won Best Talent for her dramatic presentation about an abused woman who has a mental breakdown and ends up institutionalized. She scored 424 points for the segment. Miss Yearwood was also named Miss Photogenic.
Anguilla’s Marejah Smith was chosen by her fellow contestants as Miss Amity, while Miss Barbados, Jamilah Forde won Best Promotional Video.The other contestants in the 2012 pageant represented The Dominican Republic and Nevis.
Trevicia Adams was the First Runner Up in the National Carnival Queen pageant in December. The National Queen Kahlia Huggins, who journeyed to Antigua to represent the Federation in the Ms Jaycees Pageant over the weekend, was named First Runner Up in that regional competition.
